CHINA. Hunan. Copper 10 Cash Pattern, ND (1902). PCGS SPECIMEN-55 Gold Shield. (t) CL-HUN.96; CCC-196; KM-Y-112.12. An attractive example of this SCARCEtype that can be tough to come by. The piece exhibits a nice bold strike and well defined devices. The surfaces display a lovely mottled combination of milk chocolate, mocha and light brown colored patina offering good eye appeal. Minor surface debris is noted on the reverse, otherwise a wholesome and original example sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters. Estimate: $3,000 - $3,500.
