- GREAT BRITAIN. Quarter-Laurel, ND (1624). James I. NGC MS-61. 2.20 gms. S-2642B; North-2119; Fr-244; KM-69. Trefoil mintmark. Third Coinage. Fourth bust. Obverse: Laureate square bust left, wide ties bracket "V" in right field. Reverse: Crowned square topped shield on cross. Well struck with all the legends visible and luminous luster remaining over the surfaces. Far superior to most seen and presently only surpassed by a single example in the NGC census.
