DREAMY mint bloom reflects off choice surfaces when swirled in the light. Adding to the appeal is the lovely soft peach obverse toning which is awash over the entire surface. The reverse is toned in rich magenta and navy hues. Terrific strike with nearly all the radials in the stars struck to full advantage. In addition, the drapery lines, hair strands and eagle's wing and neck feathers are crisp and fully delineated. A teensy contact mark is noted on Liberty's bust area and her chin, but you need powerful magnification to even see them. PCGS 68, NGC 40. The value in PCGS Price Guide is $7,000. Recent auction records from August 2022 show an example selling for $4,560 and another sold in January 2022 for $5,520. A prized piece to add to a GEM Mint State date or type collection. Cert.
