详细说明: 1870 Pattern Half Dollar. Judd-944, Pollock-1072. Rarity-7+. Aluminum. Plain Edge. Proof-65 Deep Cameo (PCGS). CAC. Obv: flowing hair bust of Liberty right in Phrygian cap, stars at headband, <em>incused </em>LIBERTY on ribbon entwined in her tresses, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around, ribbon below with IN GOD WE TRUST. Rev: cereal wreath of corn, cotton, wheat, and rice, STANDARD in small letters above, 50 /CENTS / 1870 within on three lines. The silver-gray devices are frosty and the matching fields are reflective. The <em>uspatterns.com </em>website notes that perhaps only two examples of the variety are known, though the population has probably grown slightly in the ensuing years since the website's inception. Choice and appealing at every turn -- and rare if we forgot to mention that!
