详细说明: Anyone who collects DMPL dollars knows how tough finding a decent 78 8TF can be--and how tough CAC is. The deep 8”+ mirrors arrest your gaze from across the room. Up close the quality really does hold up to scrutiny. Ms. Liberty, the eagle, and all the details are crisply embossed and frosty, creating a nice cameo like contrast against the deep non hazy mirrors. The fabric of the coin does amplify the light scuffs which account for the assigned MS64 grade. Untoned and very nice. PCGS 48, NGC 53, CAC 5. PCGS has assigned only 8 coins higher numerical grades: 3 in 64+, 3 in 65, and one each in 65+ and 66. CAC has not approved a single example finer than MS64 DMPL. The last PCGS/CAC MS64 DMPL sold for $3,290 in February 2017. The only other CAC-approved example sold in November 2013 for $4,406. PCGS lists a value of $4,500 in this grade, and keep in mind that if you can find a PCGS MS65, it would likely cost in the $18,000-$20,000 range (the last 65 DMPL to sell brought $18,600 in July 2008).
