- 1864 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-66 (NGC). Pretty reddish-russet iridescence is splashed about both sides, with isolated rim areas also revealing somewhat bolder cobalt-blue highlights. Sharp, satiny devices offer appreciable contrast to lightly mirrored finish fields, all areas expectably smooth at the premium Gem grade level.
