From a mintage of 3,218,019 pieces, the most generous in the Proof Franklin half dollar series. While the 1962 is widely regarded as a "type issue" among Proof Franklins, astute collectors are aware that Deep/Ultra Cameo examples are scarce in an absolute sense.
