- Wisconsin--Racine. 1863 Erhardt & Raps. Fuld-700F-1a. Rarity-4. Copper. 19 mm. MS-65+ RB (PCGS). Far more Red than Brown, this otherwise medium rose example exhibits only minimal toning in iridescent lilac-brown. A lustrous and satiny Gem with a sharp strike and expertly preserved surfaces. One of the partners of this Wisconsin auctioneer was Charles Ehrhard, whose surname is misspelled on this token. Undoubtedly among the finest known for the type, and worthy of the strongest bids.
