(1800) Washington Funeral Urn Medal. Baker-166C. Rarity-6. White Metal. AU-58 (PCGS). 120.37 grains.&nbsp;Lustrous silver-gray with varied silver highlights. The strike is strong and blemishes are at an absolute minimum. The obverse die used for the white metal Funeral Urn variety offered here is the same as the obverse die used for the Skull and Crossbones variety, and <em>not </em>the die used for the silver Funeral Urn piece offered elsewhere.&nbsp;Obviously there was a lot of interchangeability among the dies as these were being struck, as the reverse die used for the white metal variety offered herein is also much different from the die used on the silver piece offered elsewhere in this collection.&nbsp;The present piece represents a&nbsp;splendid opportunity to obtain an equally splendid early American medallic tribute to George Washington.
