- An incredible quality GEM Type 1 Buffalo nickel. Wonderfully struck up devices and a beautiful mix of totally original orange-red, rose, antique gold, and powder blue patina encase the highly lustrous surfaces. Housed in an old NGC "fatty" holder, this coin has it all! PCGS 212, NGC 66, CAC 70. This was the most recent CAC-approved example to sell in auction, bringing $2,640 in April 2022; and that was the first CAC-approved example to sell since December 2020.
