Obverse: Half-length bust of Field Marshal Count von Waldersee facing slightly left; Reverse: Two steaming imperial German naval ships returning to port in Germany. An exceedingly interesting medal commemorating the return of the German Expeditionary Forces to Germany after the Boxer Rebellion. The sole finest graded example of the type, this wonderful medal delivers crisp details and a slight cameo effect to the surfaces.
