- GREAT BRITAIN. Crown, ND (1643-4). London Mint; mm: (P). Charles I. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, AU Details. S-2716; Fr-251; N-2185; Brooker-220 (same obv. die). Group D, class 2. Weight: 2.22 gms. Struck under Parliament. Obverse: Crowned and mantled bust right; Reverse: Garnished oval coat-of-arms; crown above. Despite the minor noted cleaning, this charming gold issue remains without much in the way of actual handling and features an interesting period of manufacture, being struck under the auspices of Parliament during the English Civil War.
