详细说明: N-9. EX NAFTZGER. Like all the large cents baring the Naftzger pedigree, this coin is exceptional quality and HIGH END! The strike was sharply and expertly rendered on both sides, essentially all details are fully and crisply defined. The glossy and rich chocolate brown lustrous surfaces show a hint of orange-ish -red, especially on the reverse. Even under magnification, the quality is wonderful. These “Modified Matron” head large cents are a transitional type between the Matron Head and the Coronet Head. There are many varieties that have colorful names, such as the Silly Head (the presently offered) and the Booby Head. They are always fun to specialize in.
