1885 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-64 Cameo (NGC). Gorgeous toning that ranges through crimson, blue and russet-gold spanning the obverse and reverse with the periphery the richest shades. Excellent surfaces and eye appeal, as the frost is undisturbed and the fields pleasing. Mintage of 940 pieces in Proof, with Cameos scarce and desirable. There is a mechanical error on the NGC insert that lists the grade as "MS 64 CAMEO."
