- FROM THE INCLINE COLLECTION The 54-D is a major strike rarity, usually found flatly struck and devoid of detail on the reverse. The present coin shows full, strong definition on both sides, and ranks among the FINEST graded with full steps. Highly lustrous surfaces are a delight to behold with a vibrant nickel-silver. Even with a strong glass, we cannot find any mark of consequence. A lovely, GEM example. PCGS 7, NGC 10. PCGS has graded just a single MS66+ in the FS designation finer. There is just one auction record for a 66 FS, a PCGS coin that sold in April 2016 for $4,230. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $5,500.
