THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION, PART IV A very attractive example of this date, another one that saw a decent mintage, but very few were saved at the time of issue and the number of Mint State survivors is miniscule. Boldly struck up at the central devices, but there is some very slight weakness at the star centers and Liberty's uppermost hairlines. A sparkling luster dances in the light accenting the very subtle pewter-silver toning. Under a strong glass we do see some minor ticks and lines, which explain the modest MS62 grade. A very heavy die crack from the reverse rim at 3:00 to the border of the eagle's shield. PCGS 6, NGC 4, CAC 2. None have sold in nearly five years. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,500 and the CAC CPG value is $2,550. VERY RARE finer with just 18 listed at PCGS in MS63 to MS65.
