- Indiana. 16th Indiana Volunteers. Undated (1861-1865) Sutler Unknown. 5 Cents. Schenkman IN-16-5Ba (IN-D5Ba), W-IN-160-005b. Rarity-9. Brass. Plain Edge. EF Details--Reverse Damage (NGC). 17 mm. Generally smooth in hand, pleasingly original patina in deep brassy-gold further enhances this token's appeal. A few shallow digs over the lower left reverse explain the NGC qualifier, while accuracy also compels to mention a series of light pin scratches on the obverse that one will need a loupe to discern.
