- ITALY. Venice. Ducat, ND (1400-1413). Michael Steno. NGC MS-65. Fr-1230. Pristine example with full wood grain texture to the fields and all of the heads and bodies fully struck-up in the devices. Depicts St. Mark presenting a banner to the kneeling Doge of Venice (Michael Steno) on the obverse with haloed Christ standing on the reverse. A real gem and graded as such. Estimate: $600 - $800.
