This coin is yet another example of when Mother Nature and the US Mint work together to put on a show! WOW! This is the wildest toned 1925 Peace dollar we have had the pleasure of offering. We do consider it one of the FINEST toned Peace dollars that exists, and the consignor paid a strong $5,000 for it in a private treaty. Both sides are awash in a stunning, original melange of vivid colors. Deep aubergine, cranberry. and tangerine hues blend with icy teal, apricot-gold, and emerald toning all over. We rate the colors as a 9+ on our 10-point color scale, and the blend of colors, for a Peace dollar, are off the charts!
