(t) CHINA. Sinkiang. Sar (Tael), Year 6 (1917). Tihwa Mint. NGC MS-61. L&M-837; K-1265; KM-Y-45; WS-1319. Variety with small wreath and with flower (rosette). A premium Mint State example, this stunning beauty offers up a sparkling white luster that delicately bounds light off the surfaces. Brushes of deep, violet toning accentuate the reverse floral designs, with this example having a more subdued nature on the reverse. Clearly an upper tier piece with so little in the way of any issue at all. Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
