- With a glass the details of the repunched date are evident at the 9 and 6. A bold, satiny mint frost glows all over, accenting the sharply struck devices on both sides. A wonderful, rich golden color glows throughout, allowing you to ignore the few tiny, microscopic ticks visible with a glass. The eye appeal is wonderful. PCGS 34, NGC 23, CAC 13. PCGS has only graded 2 MS66 examples of this variety, and one finer. Only two PCGS/CAC examples have ever sold in auction; the most recent in the 2015 FUN auction selling for $7,050; the one before that sold in March 2012 for $8,050.
