- Crackle And Pop Collection. Vlack-48a. These were typically made on crudely prepared, and (usually) unevenly struck planchets, thus the high points areas display some of the roughness typically seen where the design elements were not completely delineated by the dies. This also explains the shallow relief in some peripheral areas, although the greenish corrosion off right of the non-dated side took hold later. Still, this is a modestly lustrous example with attractive silvery grey and dandelion accents.
