DRIPPING WITH ORIGINAL FROST and mint bloom! Wisps of champagne gold toning are noted throughout and serve only to add to the originality of the coin! Great, bold strike. Mark free surfaces, even when looking with strong magnification. PCGS 332 , NGC 272, CAC 173. Auction records are all over the place for this issue. A piece sold for $720 in June of this year, but it was hazy and drab. We sold an example in April 2023 for $2,056 but that coin looked like an upgrade. With a HUGE spread in price to $35,000 for an MS68, we can understand why there is such a huge disparity in prices.
