- This is a simply stunning GEM Proof Seated Liberty quarter that has a classic, old time look. Highly reflective mirrors have a blistering brilliance, deep clarity that beams from below a swirling blend of classic blue, aqua, and gold that yield to brilliant centers. We think this beauty sat undisturbed for years in an old album. Both sides, but especially the obverse, borders on cameo contrast between the devices and the fields. Only 875 Proofs were struck. PCGS 42, NGC 49, CAC 3. No PCGS/CAC coin has ever sold in auction. It has been years since we have handled a PR65 that had such a killer look. This GEM will sell way above a typical PR65. You just do not see killer toners like this anymore and is worthy of a very strong bid from the collector of Proof Seated Liberty quarters, as these RARELY come this nice! Cert.
