WOW! This is one of the FINEST Large Motto 1864 2 cent pieces graded in the BN category. It is a real borderline MS67 BN. For a coin in that classification, the surfaces have a ton of retained original RED hidden in the devices. Sharply struck and highly lustrous surfaces are pristine (save for one toning dot) and offer a great eye appeal. PCGS 24, NGC 37, CAC 19. There are just two in 66+ BN and a single 67 BN graded finer. Neither 66+ ever sold in auction, while that 67 BN sold in the 2018 ANA auction for $7,200. That makes the current PCGS Price Guide value of $2,000 seem very cheap by comparison.
