- CHINA. Tibet. Tangka, BE 15-40 (1906). PCGS EF-45. L&M-626. KM-C-27.1 (incorrect on PCGS holder); WS-0268. "Ranjana" series, with large circle around lotus. Offering strong originality with a pleasing soft gray base of color and scattered darker debris throughout the design recesses. While seen infrequently (we've sold only five examples of this type [several of which were the meaningless date varieties] in our history!), we sold a BE 15-40 dated example that was graded AU-53 by PCGS in our September 2021 Hong Kong auction for $3,840. Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
