- 1855 Braided Hair Cent. N-1. Rarity-3. Upright 5s. MS-65 BN (PCGS). This frosty example exhibits dominant copper brown patina, although generous amounts of mint red remain, especially on the obverse. A few light spots are scattered about, the most significant on the obverse border outside star 13. Tied for CC#10 in the Grellman census. Noyes Die State B/B.
