- 1748-E Sou Marque. Tours Mint. Vlack-86. Rarity-7. AU-55 (PCGS). 29.1 grains. Much silvering remains on both sides of this attractively original example, the surfaces of which exhibit light golden toning that appears to drift toward the borders. Central reverse soft, left obverse border nearly flush with the lettering. Other areas are more sharply struck, however, with interesting die crumble affecting the letters G, FR and the intervening period in the reverse legend. Provenance: From the Sydney F.
