- 1796 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-5, BB-65. Rarity-2. BB Die State II. Large Date, Small Letters. EF-45 (PCGS). Medium steel gray surfaces exhibit traces of deep crimson and royal blue, especially toward the rims. Evenly worn and free of distracting marks to the unassisted eye. Diagnostic reverse cud at IC. Bold details remain on both sides, with much of the Small Eagle design intact. A pleasing Draped Bust dollar that would make a fine addition to an advanced type set or early dollar cabinet.
