"1789" Mott Token. Breen-1024. Thick Planchet. Engrailed Edge. AU-58 (PCGS). 204.1 grains. Deep golden-brown with rose-brown highlights. From an early state of the dies with no stretching of the peripheral legends, no cud at the corner of the regulator, and strong details throughout, especially at the eagle, one of the notoriously weak spots for the issue. Choice and appealing at many levels. Craige's envelope reads: "Magnificent Reverse!" If you mean to own a nice Mott token for type purposes, you can probably end your search right here!
