- 1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 64-t, W-5380. Rarity-1. Large Planchet, Plain Shield. EF-40 (PCGS). Deep golden-brown surfaces exhibit uniform microgranularity throughout, especially at the horse's head on the obverse and the bottom right of the shield on the reverse. Both sides free of marks of moment save for the roughness in the planchet when struck, M weak on reverse. Choice for the grade in spite of the mentioned shortcomings. PCGS# 509.
