- 1854-O Liberty Seated Quarter. Arrows. Briggs 1-A, FS-501. Huge O. VF-25 (PCGS). Rich charcoal-olive patina with isolated silver-gray high points. A perennially popular variety with Liberty Seated quarter enthusiasts, the scarce 1854-O FS-501 features a large and misshapen mintmark that it may have been carved into the die by hand at the New Orleans Mint.
