This is a dramatic looking GEM Proof example of this Proof Only mintage. This was from an estate of killer Type coins we placed 15+ years ago! Wonderful, deep, icy reflective mirrors shimmer all over. The fields are smooth and generally free of all but the most insignificant lines, which are appropriate for the PCGS assigned grade, and CAC confirms. The sharply rendered devices have a thick, rich frost, giving this coin a borderline CAMEO contrast, which adds dramatically to the outstanding eye appeal. Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 23, NGC 26, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only 3 in PR65+. The most recent PR65+ selling was thuis coin, which brought $8,812 in January 2017. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at 11,000.
