- (t) CHINA. Dollar, Year 3 (1914). PCGS VF-35. cf. L&M-63 (for prototype); cf. K-646 (same); cf. KM-Y-329 (same); cf. WS-0174-1 (same). "Military" or "Warlord" type. Not quite matching any of the defined military issues, this specimen presents a very defined earlobe on Yuan Shih-kai, very similar to that found upon the two Shantung types--though it lacks the characteristic big button found on them. Regardless, an interesting representative from the vast spurious series, and one that remains entirely wholesome and original. Estimate: $800 - $1,200. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
