详细说明: 1888 Three-Dollar Gold Piece. Proof-64 Cameo (NGC). CAC. Handsome quality and strong eye appeal as the surfaces are close to the Gem level of preservation and show the desirable Cameo contrast. For this particular year the Proof issue actually went fairly high with a reported mintage of 291 pieces. However, today there are perhaps 150-200 known in various Proof grades, with this example one of the finer survivors. There are precious few that show the Ultra Cameo (in fact just one) or Deep Cameo (PCGS notes there are 5 grading events with this contrast) designation. An important yet obtainable issue at this grade level, which shows both ample eye appeal and the desirable orange-peel texture in the fields.
