- BELGIAN CONGO. Congo Free State. 5 Franc, 1887. Leopold II (1865-1909). PCGS MS-64+ Gold Shield. KM-8.1. From a mintage of only 8,000 pieces. A beautiful near-Gem that displays a good strike, fully silky luster and an eye catching arrangement of tone that is pea green and orange on the obverse edges and is fuller on the reverse with an arrangement of pale orange, mauve and blue color that reaches the centers. Estimate: $1,300 - $1,700.
