- CHINA. Fengtien. Pattern 4 Fen, ND (1899). PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. CCC-317; Hsu-456.1; KM-Pn1. VERY RARE. Struck in brass with square hole. Due to the shortage of cash coins in circulation in 1899, issuance of higher denomination coins was planned. Trials were produced in 1899 but never went into full production due to the Boxer Rebellion and the mint being occupied by the Imperial Russian Army. Toned with some luster remaining. PCGS# 518713 PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. 奉天省光緒通寶官板四分樣幣。 罕見。黃銅方孔。因於1899年方錢短缺，政府開始鑄造更高的面值。初期的樣幣雖完成，但因義和團事件之起，俄羅斯帝國陸軍進佔造幣廠，發行從未完成。經包漿，有若干光彩仍存。
