Ex Link, as noted on the holder. Fully CHOICE and richly toned. Both sides are ensconced in a melange of color; depending on the angle, variegated hues of green, blue, and red appear when the light hits the lustrous surfaces. The devices nicely embossed by a forceful blow from the dies. The eye appeal is certainly pleasing and unique. PCGS 7, NGC 1. The last PCGS-graded example to sell in auction was a decade ago, realizing $3,910. The current Collector's Universe value is listed at $4,750. A mere half dozen examples of the Square Base 2, Large 8s Red Book type are graded finer at PCGS, and nothing this fine has sold since 2011; clearly this is a Red Book type that RARELY comes in high grade!
