- Kansas City Collection. JR-1, the only die-marriage for 1809. An upper mid-grade example of this very tough date, the entire surface exhibits stone-grey texture and darker rugosity within the peripheral areas. Considerable sharpness manifests on both sides such that the eagle has individually sculpted feathers, and Liberty's tresses are nearly fully delineated.
