详细说明: This is a FRESHLY GRADED GEM example of the date. While the 92-S $20 saw a mintage of 930,150, those that exist in Mint State are generally MS64 and lower grade. In GEM grades, this date is QUITE RARE, with only 25 graded MS65 or MS65+ at PCGS and NONE finer. This lustrous beauty has bold, swirling cartwheel mint bloom that gleams over semi-reflective flash in the fields. The razor sharp devices are nicely frosted and the surfaces are very clean. Even using a strong glass there are no serious contact marks or discolorations anywhere to be found. While David Akers noted that "Gems are very scarce, but i have seen a number of them as well as a few truly superb quality specimens," the current Population figures do not bear that out. In fact, the Saddle Ridge Hoard, discovered in 2013, had 178 examples of this date, which included 3 coins that graded MS65+ which ranked as the finest of the date. PCGS 20, NGC 7. The most recent example to sell in auction brought $19,388 in our September 2019 Regency Auction and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $20,000.
