- GREAT BRITAIN. Bronzed Battle of Toulouse Medal, 1814. PCGS SP-64 Secure Holder. Eimer-1042; BHM-789; Bramsen-1384. Medal commemorating the Battle of Toulouse. By R. Gayrard and N. G. A. Brenet. Obverse: Head of Britannia left, in a Corinthian helmet. Reverse: The Duke of Wellington standing beside a military trophy holding a captured French standard and wreath. Struck c. 1820 from Mudie's series on British victories. Beautifully preserved with an exceptional high relief depiction of Britannia on the obverse. Estimate: $150 - $300. PCGS SP-64 Secure Holder.
