- 1911 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-66 (PCGS). CAC. Lovely Gem surfaces are dressed in gently mottled silver-mauve iridescence with glints of powder blue and antique silver more pronounced on the obverse. Blue and gold undertones flash into view at direct lighting angles to further enhance the eye appeal. Really an engaging piece, and also a technically superior one with full striking detail, an intense Proof finish, and expert surface preservation. This later issue Barber half dollar is one of only 543 pieces produced in Proof, and this example is much finer than most pieces extant today.
