- THE SOMMELIER COLLECTION An excellent looking GEM. Well struck overall with just some minor weakness on the head. Brilliant luster blooms all over enlivening a delicate hint of pearly and golden pastel tones. The eye appeal is wonderful! The 1924-D is a notoriously weakly struck date, rarely appearing with full head detail. This one is better struck than most. PCGS 149, NGC 266, CAC 78. The last one brought $600 in November 2020 and one sold for $595 in May 2020. The Collectors Universe and CAC CPG values are virtually identical, $675 and $676 respectively. Scarce finer. Cert.
