FROM THE SAND HILL COLLECTION. RARE in DCAM! Deeply mirrored surfaces and fully frosted devices combine for a stark black and white deep cameo effect. The reflectivity of the surfaces magnifies faint surface lines that can really only be seen with magnification and are otherwise unobtrusive (which we note only for the sake of accuracy). The eye appeal really is very high end for the modest grade assigned. Only 725 Proofs were struck. PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 3. Listed in the current PCGS Price Guide at $1,350. A CAC approved coin last sold at auction for $1,440 in November 2017. RARE any FINER, only 13 DCAM’s graded higher, making the present coin among the top DCAM proofs available for this date. Cert.
