Often cited as the most common branch-mint issue in the Indian eagle series, the 1910-D nevertheless shows a precipitous drop-off in availability above the "gem" level. Roughly 20-thousand have been certified at mint-state, yet here we stand with a coin that has fewer than sixty peers at its grade level (according to PCGS). Absolutely sensational luster is characteristic of the issue, with the visual sweetness all the more devastating on account of exceedingly fine, matte texture overall that offers some semblance of matte-proof appeal.
