- PHILIPPINES. Peso, 1936-M. NGC MS-65. KM-177; Basso-141; Allen-19.00. Mintage of only 10,000 pieces. Roosevelt and Quezon. Sharply struck with lovely satiny surfaces, frosty devices and great carthwheel luster. The obverse displays a thin veneer of champagne tone while the reverse exhibits a smokey lavender with iridescent hues that pop out when tilted in the light. A highly attractive example sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters. Estimate: $300 - $400. Provenance: From the Ray Czahor Collection.
