- Truly a gorgeous example from the final year of this short lived series and among the FINEST examples in the BN category. Boasting the most incredible mirrors for a coin designated BN, the reflection is clear and deep. Delicate olive and icy blue iridescent toning are brought out by the underlying and intense mirrored flash. Sharply struck devices stand out boldly and the eye appeal is truly amazing. Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 6, NGC 5, CAC 8. The last PCGS/CAC example sold four years ago at the 2016 ANA auction,. realizing $5,170; prior to that, one sold in the 2015 FUN auction for $5,640. The current CAC CPG value is $6,680 and with just a single PR66+ BN graded higher, this nearly SUPERB example should be an exceptional capstone to any toned two cent Proof set.
