- GERMANY. Nurnberg. Taler, 1745-PPW. PCGS AU-58 Gold Shield. Dav-2483; KM-307. An attractive and finely engraved issue displaying a highly intricate city view reverse. A wholesome and lightly handled example displaying a lovely medium soft gray tone in the open areas with slate patina in the peripherals and crevasses all complemented by a subtle iridescent sheen. A lovely survivor of the type that shows up in Europe with some frequency while appearances in the US market are seldom and highly anticipated. Estimate: $1,200 - $1,600.
