Despite a generally sizable mintage of 442,000, this date is remarkably scarce in MS64 or higher grades. In MS65 it is RARE and VERY RARE any finer. This GEM 1913 $10 is wholly original and very visually pleasing. Sharply impressed devices stand out boldly accented by a rich, glowing frosty brilliance. There are some teeny contact marks that account for the assigned grade, but they have minimal impact on the visual quality. PCGS 88, NGC 87, CAC 21. We sold the most recent example for $8,225 in October 2020. Both the PCGS Price Guide and the CAC CPG list a value of $11,500 in MS65. Fewer than three dozen are graded higher. Worthy of inclusion in a fantastic set of $10 Indians and will see very fierce bidding when it crosses the block. Cert. Number 39322782 PCGS # 8873
