详细说明: 1870 Pattern Dollar. Judd-1004, Pollock-1136. Rarity-7-. Copper. Reeded Edge. Proof-64 BN (NGC). CAC. William Barber's design depicting Liberty seated, facing left. Her right hand supports a shield and pole with a liberty cap. A scroll inscribed LIBERTY is draped in front of the shield. She holds an olive branch in her left hand; 13 stars surround, date below. The reverse is the regular issue reverse. <br /> Deep brown surfaces show red, violet, and orange hues when rotated under a light. A beautiful example of this rather scarce pattern, one of "a dozen known."  NGC has graded a total of eight examples of the Judd-1004 (5 in BN; and one each in BN Cameo, RB, Red Cameo).This example is high quality and attractive for the type and grade assigned. Even under close inspection, no flaws or distracting lines can be found. An impressive pedigree chain that the next high bidder will be able to add his or her name to.
